Archival ink print.\"><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beginning in the 1950s, composers in search of new sounds and new modes of performance began to push beyond the limits of traditional notation and experiment with alternative ways of visualizing sonic thought.
