The exhibition\u2019s title refers to Hanna\u00a0H\u00f6ch\u2019s groundbreaking Dadaist photomontage of the same name, made in 1920 in the midst of extreme social and political turmoil in Europe. In our current exhibition, Ackerman and Kelly-Yurdin ask us to investigate our own relationship to lived history. Looking at their subtle and complex work, we are able to slow our racing minds and experience a different kind of communication, non-verbal and generous.
