Aftersound is a new listening series organized by Patrick Carey and Ron Harrity, focused on multi-channel \/ spatial audio performances and installation works in and around Portland. This will be the first of many immersive events in both dedicated music venues and less traditionally listening-oriented spaces. The name derives from Maryanne Amacher\u2019s concept of the \u201cafter sound\u201d, the sonic sensation that lingers after the sound itself has stopped. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
