The UNE History Collection was established along with the Sandra and Bernard Featherman Archives with a generous donation from the Featherman family to unite our historical collections and facilitate seemless continuity of historical documentation of the institution, in all of its forms, from 1830 to the present. The UNE History Collection focuses on the period of time from the 1978 merger of St. Francis College and the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine to the present. The archives seeks to enrich the UNE community through exhibits and other programming and serve as a resource for understanding UNE’s unique and impactful history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sandra Featherman, Ph.D. Papers document the professional, academic, and civic life of Dr. Sandra Featherman (1934\u20132018), an influential political scientist, university president, and advocate for women\u2019s leadership and public policy. The collection spans 1884\u20132018 and measures 10.5 cubic feet, comprising materials such as correspondence, publications, photographs, speeches, organizational records, and artifacts.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li>
