Biographical/Historical Note

Susan McIlvaine Kenney was born in Pennsylvania and spent her childhood in Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York. She received her B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Cornell. She is the author of several mystery novels, including Garden of Malice, Graves in Academe and One Fell Sloop, as well as numerous short stories and essays. She taught creative writing at Colby College.
