UNE’s Special Collections serves as a hub for teaching and learning with primary sources at the university. Our collections support teaching and research in the undergraduate curriculum, faculty research and scholarship, and offer in-depth learning opportunities to students through internships and student employment. In addition to our teaching collections, Special Collections draws on the rich holdings of the Maine Women Writers Collection, New England Osteopathic Heritage Center, Sandra and Bernard Featherman University Archives, and UNE Art Galleries to enhance experiential learning at UNE.
To schedule a research visit or to use primary sources in your courses, please contact Cathleen Miller, Education and Outreach Archivist for Special Collections.
