University of New England - Innovation for a Healthier Planet

UNE History Collection

The UNE History Collection was established along with the Sandra and Bernard Featherman Archives with a generous donation from the Featherman family to unite our historical collections and facilitate seemless continuity of historical documentation of the institution, in all of its forms, from 1830 to the present. The UNE History Collection focuses on the period of time from the 1978 merger of St. Francis College and the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine to the present. The archives seeks to enrich the UNE community through exhibits and other programming and serve as a resource for understanding UNE’s unique and impactful history.
