Both UNE Library buildings are currently closed to the outbreak of COVID-19. While we plan for a fall re-opening, we continue to support you with the following changes to our services:
The vast majority of our resources are available in electronic formats. We have e-books, databases, online journals, streaming video and more all available from the library website.
Books may be returned by mail or using the drop boxes located at the libraries’ entrance. If you have any questions about returns, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Printers are available in the Commons on the Biddeford Campus, and Innovation Hall on the Portland Campus. The printers in the library are not currently available while the library buildings are closed.
Librarians can still help you – we are available by phone or email and have expanded the hours we are available by chat. We can also arrange Zoom meetings upon request, and we have many guides and tutorials and our FAQs to help you complete your assignments.
Special Collections staff are here to help you with your research. Some of our collection material is digitized, and we are also able to provide digital materials to researchers upon request. Please contact Cathleen Miller for research assistance.
The Portland Campus and Ketchum Art Galleries remain closed at this time. The “Exhibitions” pages on our website feature photographs of installation views and artworks from the current exhibits. You can view video tours of the current exhibits:
