We also have games, device chargers, noise-cancelling headphones, bicycles, and seasonal passes to Maine State Parks and the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.

The vast majority of our collections are available to read online.  Download popular e-books and audiobooks with cloudLibrary. Find educational, classic, and indie films in the Academic Video Online and Kanopy streaming video databases.

Interlibrary Loan

If we don’t have access to something through our collections and subscriptions, you can request a copy through MaineCat or UNE Interlibrary Loan. Your items will be delivered for free to your UNE Campus. Learn more about interlibrary loan.

Online Resources

In addition to our research databases, you have access to all of the online resources offered by the Maine State Library. The Digital Maine Library contains resources for language learning, genealogy, crafts, K-12 education, book recommendations, DIY and more.

Newspapers & Magazines

Our subscriptions include popular magazines as well as scholarly and trade and journals, including The Chronicle of Higher Education and Consumer Reports. We also have access to The Portland Press Herald online and in print at both campus libraries, as well as database access to local, regional, and global newspapers.
