We have a broad selection of fiction and non-fiction titles, including popular reading, children’s, and young adult titles, as well as educational and entertainment movies on DVD.

Access Services Librarians:
Audio Books, e-books & Streaming Video
The vast majority of our collections are available to read online. Find titles by searching our library catalog, or one of our databases. Download popular e-books and audiobooks with cloudLibrary. Academic Video Online and Kanopy have a wide selection of educational, classic and indie films available as streaming video.
Materials From Other Libraries
If we don’t have what you are looking for, request from other libraries using MaineCat or UNE Interlibrary Loan. Your items will be delivered for free to your UNE Campus.
You can also use your UNE ID card to borrow from public and academic libraries who participate in the Maine Reciprocal Borrowing Program.
In addition to our research databases, you have access to all of the online resources offered by the Maine State Library:
Digital Maine Library
The Digital Maine Library contains resources for language learning, genealogy, crafts, K-12 education, book recommendations, DIY and more. Use your UNE Nor’Easter login and password to log in.
Bendable Maine is a lifelong leaning platform with locally created and curated course modules and learning resources to support the needs and interests of Maine residents. Includes courses on languages, local history and ecology, cooking, technology, job training and more.
Newspapers & Magazines
Our subscriptions include popular magazine titles as well as local and regional newspapers, including the Portland Press Herald.
UNE Art Galleries
Enjoy exhibits and special events at the UNE Art Galleries on both campuses. UNE employees are welcome at exhibit opening receptions.
