Biographical/Historical Note

Nadya Bernard received her master’s degree in English from Simmons College, Boston, in 1970. After teaching high school for several years, she moved to the Maine woods, settling in Kingsfield, Maine. Bernard authored the novel I Sleep Around (1979).
