Biographical/Historical Note
Jennifer Craig is a poet and essayist who spent her early summers in Castine, Maine. She later taught at University of Maine at Orono and published her poetry in various literary magazines. Craig’s 1997 essay on Ruth Moore is often cited for its excellence. She lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts until retirement when she moved back to Belfast, Maine. She was a finalist for the MWPA Chapbook Series competition in 2021 for her nonfiction manuscript, Breaking Our Hearts So Slowly.
