Services & Help

Services for Visitors

We welcome visitors who are not UNE students, faculty, staff or affiliates between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on days we are open. Holiday, vacation & summer hours may apply.

Our materials, spaces and services are intended primarily to support UNE students, faculty and staff. We reserve the right to restrict library access to current UNE ID card-holders at any time without notice.

Library Spaces

Visitors are expected to respect our Library Use Policy. We will ask anyone who interferes with other patrons’ use and enjoyment of the library or otherwise engages in distracting, disruptive, or harassing behavior to modify their behavior or to leave the library.

Library Materials

Visitors may use library materials within the libraries but cannot borrow items.

Items on course reserve, in our reference collection, and library study rooms are not available to visitors. Our archives and special collections are available to researchers by appointment.

Computers & Access

You can connect to our guest wireless network with your own device, but will not have access to our subscription online resources. Access is not available for purchase. Printing is not available.

Research Assistance

If you are visiting to do research, you may request access to our subscription online resources. Please allow at least 48 hours before your intended visit.

For research in our archives and special collections, contact the collection curator for an appointment.
