Connect with the Library for New Students

Welcome to UNE! While your programs may be starting out with remote classes, you still have access to the vast majority of library resources and services!

How do I login?

To log into library resources, enter your UNE username (the first part of your UNE email address, but without the @une.edu) and the same password that you use for other UNE services such as Outlook and Blackboard.

How do I find books and articles at the library?

If you are searching for online library materials, use the search on this page, which will give results only for items available online. If you want to see all available items, search here or on the library homepage – you can search for “Almost Everything”, articles, books & videos, textbooks & course reserves and more.

How do I find the right resources for my program?

Research and Teaching librarians have created Research by Subject guides for every program at UNE. These helpful guides list relevant databases, reliable websites and other resources to help you with your research.

What if I have questions or need help?

UNE Librarians are standing by! We offer help by:

  • Chat, just look for the pop-up box and enter your question – a real, live, librarian will be right with you.
  • Ask a Librarian – enter your question and a Research and Teaching librarian will get back to you within 24 hours
  • Email – email your questions to library@une.edu and a Research and Teaching librarian will get back to you within 24 hours
  • FAQs – we have posted answers to the library’s most frequently asked questions
