Studiolab is an ongoing series of remote studio visits hosted by the UNE Art Gallery. We highlight the studio practices of artists in our community, whose interdisciplinary work intersects with the sciences and other field.
Our first video features UNE faculty member Andy Rosen. Andy is an artist who has gained recognition through his site-specific sculptural work, which speaks to current themes in both visual art and environmental science. Andy received a BFA from Alfred University, and an MFA from the University of Iowa. Based in South Portland, his work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and he is the recipient of several grants and public commissions. See more of his work at andy-rosen.com.
