Join the UNE Art Galleries and the Indigo Alliance online for an artist talk with Firefly the Hybrid, of Decontie & Brown. Firefly’s new short film “Digital Triptych”, is currently on view as part of the exhibition “Speculative Histories & Material Culture” at the UNE Art Gallery, Portland Campus. Looking at the inevitable transition to a post-human future from an Indigenous perspective, “Digital Triptych” offers the viewer a way to face this future with openness and love, rather than with fear. A screening of the 7-minute film will be followed by an artist talk and Q&A, moderated by poet and musician Atiim Chenzira.
