Faculty Resource Fair

September 26, 2024

11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Abplanalp Library, Portland Campus

Meet with vendor representatives and discover the resources we offer to support your research, teaching, scholarly publishing, and patient care. We know you have a busy schedule and this event pulls many of our library tools and resources together in one place!

  • Meet directly with our resource vendors and explore ways to integrate these resources into your curriculum.
  • See demos of interactive databases with activities, multimedia options, and lecture supplements, point of care tools, and citation management resources.
  • Talk to expert librarians about scholarly communication issues including research impact, copyright and fair use, or how special collections can integrate into your classroom.
  • Learn about new Open Educational Resources (OER) mini-grant opportunities for faculty. There is a special topic session scheduled from 12 PM to 1PM in the Portland Abplanalp Library 24-Hour Lounge. Or, ask your subject librarian for more information.

Browse or come with a question! Request on the spot help or schedule a time for a more in-depth review of one of our resources at a time of your convenience. No registration needed. Drop-in when you can! Enjoy refreshments and giveaways, too!
