Borrow unlimited books, DVDs and other library items as a current UNE student, faculty, employee, alumni or clinical affiliate. Services for visitors.

Log in to your library account to manage your account and renew online.

Some library services require your UNE ID card number or PRN (personal reference number) to access

How to Borrow

Bring the library items you want to borrow to the front desk and show your UNE ID card. If you decide not to borrow something, please place it on a re-shelving cart for library staff to replace.

Some resources are available for use within the libraries and cannot be borrowed:

Returns

You can return library items to either campus library at the front desk or using the book drops located outside the library front entrances. Items borrowed from other libraries may take a few days to record your return.

Renewals

Most items can be renewed if you need to keep them longer than the original due date.  Log into your library account to renew. You can also ask at the library front desk, email, or call (207) 602-3000.

Holds

Use the “Hold for Me” button to request any item that has already been borrowed.  When it is returned, we will check it out to you and email you to come pick it up at the library front desk. You can also borrow from another library.

Borrow from the other Campus

If the title you want is at the other UNE campus library, we will deliver it for you to pick up. Use the “Hold for Me” button and select your campus from the drop down list. Items are delivered within 2 business days.

Interlibrary Loan

If we do not have the title you need, we can get it to you for free from another library.
