UNE Library Services Welcomes Dean Elizabeth Dyer

We are pleased to announce that Interim Dean of Library Services Elizabeth Dyer has been appointed to the Dean position, replacing Dean Emeritus Andrew Golub, who retired in May of 2020.

Beth holds a Master’s of Library and Information Sciences degree from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University. She is a senior member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals and current chair of the North Atlantic Health Sciences Libraries. Beth is also currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in education.

Beth began her career at UNE in 1991, working as Coordinator for the Department of Community Health and Preventative Medicine, and later as Reference Librarian and Research and Teaching Librarian in 2008. She has held the title of Associate Dean since 2017.

We are so pleased to congratulate Beth on her appointment and look forward to a continuous improvement of UNE Library Services under her leadership.
